I'm bacccck! I actually came back from Japan a while ago but there was just so much to do. I didn't get a chance to blog. On the crappy side, haloscan no longer exists so all my comments were wiped out. I couldn't figure out a way to import them or get Diqus to work so I am stuck using the boring blogger comment thing until I find another one. Sigh. Oh well!

On to Japan, it was amaaaazing. We could not have had a better trip! Sooo much fun! We went all over from the south to the north and met so many people in between! Of course we went shopping but we couldn't go as much as we wanted since our luggage was so small. It was hard to pack for a one month trip knowing that we would have to lug all of our luggage around.

Anyway I won't tell you guys everything in one post as I could go on and onnnn.

1. COCOLULU

So when we went to Shibuya 109, it was insane. We went on January 2nd which is the craziest day of the year to shop in Japan. It's like boxing day...or black friday? Anyway there were sales. And it was soooo crowded! COCOLULU was one of the craziest shops there. The sales girls were all dressed the same and it was so trippy! Super cute though. I really wanted to get boyfriend jeans but the styles there were outrageous. I settled on the most normal pair haha. But I LOVE them!!! I noticed a COCOLULU spread in Popteen February 2010. It highlights the sale they had where it was 15000 yen for a set of clothing. I would have got that but I only liked the undies and the shoes were too big for me (the ones they had left anyway).

2. Cher

Soooo we went to get the limited edish bags that they have at the beginning of the year. Little did we know, after lining up for an hour, that it is only available to those on the "VIP" list...honestly the whole first half of the line was were bums and old men. It was soooo weird. We went anyway and bought a dress each. And we got our Cher bags which I was happy about! I have so many now though...good for grocery shopping I guess!

3. Gilfy

We went to Gilfy which was fun. They were having this crazy sale where it was 1000 yen off everything. We got the hats for 2000 which is amazing since they are usually almost 4000 yen! I got two toques and a plaid shirt/hoodie. I got the Tsubasa edition hat posted earlier. It's my fave one!

4. Magazines

Again I couldn't pick up too many or else it would not fit in my luggage but I managed a Sweet, Vivi and Popteen. I bought the Sweet purely because it came with a cute Marc Jacobs tote. So many Japanese girls were carrying them around as a bag! I used it as a makeup bag. The Popteen did not disappoint. And the Vivi was pretty good too. We were kind of hoping new ones would come out while we were there but they didn't =(

Anthropologie Love/ Canadian Gifts?

I got the Anthropologie catalogue a few days ago.

Everything in it is so adorable. But wayyyy too expensive. And that's US dolla dollas!! Whoo. But they have two locations somewhat in my vicinity and they have a MASSIVE SALE SECTION. I go crazy for the stuff. Here are a few skirts and dresses I've gotten in the past (all on sale of course). Bwahaha you can see my dog's butt in one of the photos!

These are terrible photos that don't do the clothes justice. But you get the gist. I also got a few other things but too lazy to take pics. They have such nice country (ish ish) style. I love the prints and colours.

Well I now have 7 days to get ready for Japan. I was wondering, does anyone have ideas for gifts? I mean what's so fascinating about Canada? (nothing) but my mom got a few Canada-themed items. Pretty cute actually, like maple cookies, chocolate, tea...basically anything maple and with a maple leaf logo. But what don't they get there that we get here??? Help meee! =)

Our itinerary is as follows:

Osaka (not sure specifically) (staying with two different friends)
Shizuoka (Izu) (staying with a friend)
Tokyo (Ueno, Chiba) (hotelling it for new years and then staying with a friend)

So you see, staying with friends = gift-giving. It's only fair. Dude, New Years in Tokyo is gonna be nuts! (I hope)

In other news, FIRST EXAM DOWN!!! =)

New Layout / Cher ♥

Omg this layout is fugg. I'm really losing it. But right now, as I am wrung out of creative juices, it'll have to do.

My wonderful friend from Japan came a few days ago. I had told him the last time he visited about Cher. He had no idea what it was and I only mentioned it briefly. Well, we went out to korean bbq and he brings out a bag...what does he have??? CHER! What a dear! It was so thoughtful! So here I have, my very first Cher bags =) :

The Cher catalogue wasn't bad...but majorly expensive. I kind of just like their eco-bags to be honest... but there was a shirt I liked (ice cream t-shirt, image shown)! I thought it was pretty cute. I'm probably going to edit this later. I am totally late to go out somewhere.

*EDIT:
So I am trying to compile a list of things I'd like to get from Japan. I am leaving in 9 days. I seriously can't believe it. I am totally going to crash on the plane. My friend suggested gravol + wine = temporary death. Excellent. I like it.

Umm I really don't know what else. I'm gonna be honest, I don't know much about Japan. I just wanna go on an adventure and my friend suggested it. Weird? Maybe. But funnn! Booya! ♥♥♥

Woww...I REALLY need to update this layout. Um hello, it is no longer spring (no matter how much I wish it to be...)! I decided to blog again, yay! It's my new distraction from school work. Hows abouts I post some stuff I lovvve! =)

American Apparel Rummage Sale

My friend waited for four hours in the cold waiting to get into this nut-fest. She said every time they restocked, the masses would attack. Even if the SA's would scream!!! Anyway she picked me up these two dresses for $15 each. That's a steal as they are $45 each normally.

She's sooo nice and I didn't even have to brave the sale. What are friends for right?

Non-no Sept 2004 Scans!

Hey! Sorry, I'm such a bad poster. Anyway, I bring goodies! I Managed to scan some pages of Non-no. I promised I wouldn't buy anymore books and magazines for the time being since I need money but I just couldn't resist! I got 5 Non-no 2004's for 10 bucks!!!!!!!!!!! Ok so they're a little old but the style's still cool! I scanned some coat and bag pages since that's what I need, plus they're cute. Unfortunately my scanner stopped working halfway through. I'm not quite sure why... I'm still trying to fix it. Anyway, here you go!

Other than that, prom's coming up! I have no idea what to do for a dress...Oh well! Also one of the Non-no's came with this cool recipe book. I'll have more scans soon...I hope!
